I'm a PhD candidate in Romance Studies at Cornell University. My dissertation is titled, "The Ethics of Quotation in Transitional Latin American Literatures." I am interested in a diverse array of quotational practices, including experimental narrative techniques that apply to quotation, the use of "found" literatures, plagiarism, and folkloric modes of quotation (like proverbs). I want to learn to use digital curation techniques to collate and present some of the folk-artifacts that I work on.
