Joseph Clark
I am a PhD Candidate in the History Department at Johns Hopkins University. My dissertation focuses on port cities in the seventeenth century Spanish Caribbean, with a special interest in slavery and African diaspora in the ports of Havana and Veracruz. My research draws heavily on cartography and economic and social data. In my spare time, I am a voracious consumer of news, movies, and all things related to baseball.
